Silicone Products

Silicone rubber tubing, braided hose, O-rings, extruded cord and strip, vibro sifter gaskets and food grade sheeting, stocked and supplied in Chennai by Raj Trading Corporation. Platinum cured silicone is the grade for pharmaceutical, biotechnology and food contact work, chosen for a cleaner cure with no peroxide by-products; peroxide cured tube covers the same sizes at lower cost for general purpose duty. Nylon braided hose takes the working pressures plain tube cannot, from 2 bar at 50 mm bore to 10 bar at 6 mm, and stays translucent so flow through the line remains visible. O-rings are supplied in silicone and, where the fluid rules silicone out, in FKM (Viton), EPDM, nitrile, neoprene and PTFE. Extruded cord and strip is cut and joined into gaskets for autoclave and oven doors and for vessels no standard ring fits; U section sifter gaskets seal vibro sifter and sieve decks; sheeting runs 1 mm to 10 mm on 1200 mm wide, 10 metre rolls in red, white and transparent. All of it holds from minus 60 to plus 220 degrees C and complies with FDA 21 CFR 177.2600, REACH and RoHS, with USP Class VI and ISO 10993-1 on the platinum cured grades.
