Platinum and peroxide cured silicone tubing, braided and wire reinforced hoses, inflatable gaskets, O-rings and moulded rubber components, imported and stocked in Chennai by Raj Trading Corporation. Platinum cured silicone is the grade for pharmaceutical, biotech and food contact work, where it is chosen for a cleaner cure with no peroxide by-products and lower extractables; peroxide cured tube is the general purpose grade for the same sizes at lower cost. Hoses are reinforced to suit the duty: polyester braid for pressure, SS 316L helical wire where a line has to take suction or resist kinking, fabric wrapping over wire for the heaviest transfer duty, and a PTFE lined, SS 304 braided, silicone covered construction where the fluid needs a chemically inert bore. The range also covers FEP encapsulated O-rings, tri-clover and moulded gaskets, diaphragms, corona treater sleeves, extruded door seals, silicone cords, bellows, expansion joints and rubber sheeting.
